The Big Bang star wrote: "I'll take #DreamComeTrue for $500 please".

Bialik also paid tribute to Trebek's legendary run on Jeopardy! for over four decades which cemented him as one of America's most popular TV presences. I don't want me out here; I want to see Alex out here. "It will be an honor to guest host & celebrate his great legacy".

The final episodes of Trebek's "Jeopardy!" career aired the first week of January 2021.

"Alex was a legend, revered by all of us", Mike Richards, the show's executive producer, said in a statement. "I need to thank our visitor hosts, who is not going to exclusively assist all of us rejoice his nice legacy, but additionally carry their very own contact to the present".

Upon Bialik's announcement, her fans and followers flooded the comments with messages of support as they eagerly await her first Jeopardy! appearance.
