'You're too short to talk': Ronaldo trolls Roma's Florenzi
May 15 2019
Roma kept its bid to qualify for the Champions League very much alive with a 2-0 win over Italian champion Juventus in Serie A on Sunday. We should all learn from Ronaldo, and I too have learned, because it's not everyone who gets to work with the best player in the world.
At the end of a week that saw Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri forced to deny rumours he was leaving, his side let in late goals to suffer only their third league defeat of the season.
And speaking after AS Roma's two-nil victory over Juventus, Florenzi didn't hold back when his giving thoughts on Ronaldo.
The win keeps Roma's Champions League hopes alive with Claudio Ranieri's side sixth, but just one point off Inter Milan who are fourth, before they play Chievo on Monday.
Serie A champions Juventus on Sunday unveiled their new home kit for the 2019/20 season, which for the first time in over a century removes the iconic black-and-white stripes traditionally worn by players.
"For example, on Saturday morning we have a game between ranks in training", Allegri continued, "He has fun, but his fun is winning the game". Dzeko then finished off a counter-attack in stoppage time. Sassuolo played more than an hour of the match with 10 men after Mehdi Bourabia was shown a second yellow card for celebrating his goal by half removing his shirt and was sent off.
Belotti nearly scored after the break but Sassuolo goalkeeper Andrea Consigli denied his overhead kick.
Ronaldo's hopes of finishing the season as the Serie A top scorer are slim as his 21 goals are five behind Sampdoria's Fabio Quagliarella's 26 with two games left.
