Xbox Live now promotes Xbox One capture-card streams

Rather than holding a press conference at Gamescom this year, the company is opting to mingle win fans by offering a more "intimate" Xbox FanFest experience, the details of which it'll announce soon. Those Xbox One owners who are more than happy to stick with existing Kinect Xbox voice commands will be able to continue using those without ever having to enable Cortana on the console. Still, based on a new rumor, it appears that Microsoft still has a few surprises up its sleeve.

The first one is a blood-red console which comes with a Play Anywhere download code for Gears of War 4: Ultimate Edition. The Xbox One S console is reportedly fashioned on the "Gears of War 4" Elite Controller that was revealed at the Electronics Entertainment Expo of E3 2016. Also, it is revealed that a limited edition of the title is set to happen for the Xbox One S.

Gears of War 4 releases on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC on October 11.

That being said, August is coming quickly, so Microsoft should be making the official release date announcement any day now.

If true, does this bundle appeal to you at all?

According to the leak, the Gears of War 4 Xbox One S will retail for $449.99, although that price tag is apparently "subject to change".
