The other ideas involve her either somehow inserting herself in the title match Asuka earned by winning the Royal Rumble, or challenging the champion that Asuka chooses not to challenge. So tonight Kurt Angle chose to book them in a match together that is sure to create even more animosity and we could be looking at a heel turn from one of the ladies.

Braun then walks to the ring with his bass, and Elias picks up his guitar. During a post interview, Jax talked about how both wrestlers pushed Asuka to the limit of late and "I just destroyed them in seconds". After the match, Absolution attacked James until Bliss made the save again.

The 1290th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW came to you, live, from the SAP Center at San Jose in San Jose, CA. Bayley picked up the victory with a Bailey to Belly off the top rope. Bliss and James were a capable team through their temporary alliance, but it was Absolution leader Paige who turned out to be the deciding factor in this match, creating a distraction that allowed Sonya to remove Bliss from the match as Rose got the deciding pin on James. Gloating which Roman Reigns didn't take too kindly to, as he proceeded to hammer Sheamus into the ground in a brutal match. Rousey then made her intentions clear: she wants a match at WrestleMania XXXIV in April. The two men have a history in the ring together and this match was better than a lot of what we saw from their previous encounters.

Raw is continuing to roll toward WrestleMania, but it first has a pit stop in less than two weeks with the Elimination Chamber PPV, which is slowly shaping up. That's when Angle added Rollins to the second-chance main event after the crowd chanted "Yes!" to the option. Even Apollo Crews looked quite good here. In comparison to SmackDown right now, Raw is flying high.
