In short, the restored edition of the original World of Warcraft is really coming. "We can't wait to get reacquainted with this risky, demanding, and rewarding world with all of our friends, new and old". Starting May 15th Blizzard will select players to participate in the closed beta, simply go to "Account Management" and select the WoW Classic beta option to become an active choice. Blizzard is celebrating WoW's 15th birthday with upcoming in-game events like a 25-player raid that represents a "greatest hits" of the title's bosses over the years. Those who are successful will receive the Obsidian Worldbreaker mount, created to resemble Deathwing the Destroyer.

The box will also contain an Onyxia pin; 30 days of game time; a map of Azeroth mousepad; a set of art prints; and both the Alabaster Stormtalon and Alabaster Thunderwing mounts. You can purchase it for $99, and you can pre-order the item right now from Blizzard's store.
