North Korea started its own loudspeaker broadcasts on the shared border, the South's Yonhap News Agency said on Friday. They burned an effigy of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and cut apart the North Korean flag. Observers expect North Korean officials to be angered by the decision. North Korea's state TV announces hours later that scientists have achieved " perfect success " in testing a "miniaturized" H-bomb.

Feds say terrorism-related arrests made in 2 states
U.S. Attorney Benjamin B. Wagner announced in a statement Thursday that Aws Mohammed Younis Al-Jayab, 23, of Sacramento, a Palestinian born in Iraq, was arrested on charges that he allegedly traveled to Syria in 2013 to fight with various terrorist organizations, including Ansar al-Islam.
