The Syrian military's claim would mean that Damascus and its suburbs are now in complete government control for the first time since the start of the Syrian civil war in March 2011. Damascus residents said the situation was calm, with no warplanes flying overhead Sunday. Takfiri terrorists have lost much of the territory they once held in Syria amid sweeping gains by government forces on the ground.

Multiple people hurt after school bus, dump truck crash on NJ highway
