To mark the occasion, Warner Bros. has released the logo for the Wonder Woman movie today in addition to launching the Twitter, Facebook and Instagram account. It definitely makes for a nice whetting of the appetite before the DC special that's to air on the CW tonight, titled DC Films Presents: The Dawn Of The Justice League.

Then there's the Justice League image - do these people not smile for a group portrait? - which offers a first glimpse of The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) alongside Bats (Ben Affleck), Supes (Henry Cavill) Wonder Woman (Gadot) and Aquaman (Jason Momoa). The film's shoot will also take the cast and crew to Italy. We have scenes with, like, 500 extras all in period dress. Hosted by filmmaker/writer/lifelong comics fan Kevin Smith, with special guest DC Entertainment's Geoff Johns, the special showcases the explosive landscape of DC's greatest heroes, kicking off with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, in theaters this March, and with a sneak peek from the upcoming Wonder Woman feature film.

"Wonder Woman" is slated for a June 23, 2017 release.

The rest of the Wonder Woman cast includes Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Said Taghmaoui, Elena Anaya, Lucy Davis and Connie Nielsen, recently cast as Wonder Woman's mother.

Now shooting in the United Kingdom is Wonder Woman, which sees Gal Gadot taking on the title role for director Patty Jenkins.
