Kevin Durant Will Miss Game One Of The NBA Finals For The Golden State Warriors

Golden State Warriors fans are clearly pumped with tonight's win over the Toronto Raptors in Game 2 of the NBA Finals tonight.

Pierce, who caused plenty of controversy with some off-court antics before and after helping the Washington Wizards sweep the Raptors in the first round of the 2015 playoffs, is now working for ESPN and picked Toronto to win in six games against the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals.

With Kevin Durant ruled out of Game 2, Curry, Thompson, Green and Iguodala remain the Warriors' core.

Klay Thompson UNDER 3.5 THREE-POINTERS - Even with an expectation that Thompson could go for 22 or more points in Game Two, that doesn't mean it makes sense to count on him hitting four triples, a threshold he's crossed once in the past five games and five times in 17 playoff games.

Obama was accompanied by Raptors president Masai Ujiri as he walked past the Toronto dressing room prior to the game against the defending champion Golden State Warriors at Scotiabank Arena.

DeMarcus Cousins is in the starting lineup at center after coming off the bench in his return from a torn left quadriceps in Game 1. The OVER is 5-0 in the last five head-to-head meetings in Toronto, plus the Warriors are 6-1-1 O/U in their last eight road games. It took them almost six minutes to buy a bucket in the third quarter, going 0-for-8 from the field with five turnovers before their first made shot.

The most expensive ticket for the Toronto Raptors matchup with the Warriors on Thursday was $23,896. Even when Paul Pierce says something good about the Raptors, Toronto fans just can't get behind the former National Basketball Association all-star.

Kawhi Leonard had 34 points and 14 rebounds for the Raptors. I think you have to feel it, and we felt it the other night.

But as the first half rolled on, the Raptors started to get more comfortable, and took a 10-point lead into the break. They are the best team the Warriors have taken on in the playoffs or National Basketball Association finals without KD. "It's first to four, not first to one".

Both teams have been studying videos of Thursday's 118-109 Raptors romp in the best-of-seven showdown opener to make adjustments, Toronto coach Nick Nurse finding troubles despite the triumph.

Game 3 goes Wednesday night at Oracle Arena in Oakland.

So far, the top price for Sunday's Game 2 is a mere $10,000.

No Canadian pro sports team has appreciated as much this past decade. In limited playing time, just 16 minutes, Ibaka added seven points, 10 rebounds (three offensive) and two steals.

Curry was given a technical foul with 68 seconds left for throwing the ball way up in the air after a whistle and Leonard made the ensuing three free throws to cut the deficit to 106-102 and set up a frantic finish.

Layden coached the Utah Jazz for parts of eight seasons, winning coach of the year in 1984 - the same year that he also won executive of the year and the league's citizenship award.
