Walmart causes outrage after selling ‘Impeach 45’ merchandise on its website move sparks boycott

The items, including baby clothes and shirts featuring the words "Impeach 45", were for sale on Walmart's online marketplace from a third-party seller.

By Tuesday afternoon Walmart had removed the listing from its website, though they are still available through other online retailers such as Amazon and Bonanza.

Walmart, it should be noted, also sells tons of pro-Trump merch, including an array of MAGA caps, books, cologne, and this tank top with Trump, oddly, topping a tank, but it's good to see the right taking a stand for something, I guess?

"We're removing these types of items pending review of our marketplace policies", the spokesperson said.

Walmart sells a myriad of "Make America Great Again" items, such as hats, T-shirts and coffee mugs. (The "45" is a reference to Donald Trump's status as 45th president of the United States.) "What kind of message are you trying to send?"

Neil Saunders, managing director of consulting firm GlobalData Retail said Walmart's decision to remove the anti-Trump merchandise made sense given the company's profile. The continued sale of the clothing items and whether or not a widespread boycott of Walmart catches on has not yet been determined. The hashtag #BoycottWalmart began trending on Twitter.

Walmart, not long ago, was in trouble with liberals as well for a shirt it soldthat read "Rope". But the news outlet adds that a search on Walmart.com revealed that three other companies also sell clothing that promotes impeaching Trump. "Tree. Journalist. Some assembly required", after facing massive backlash. We have reached out to Walmart for comment, and will update this story with more details when the company responds.
