In a conversation with Rajeev Masand, the Veere Di Wedding stars were asked about the movie getting banned in Pakistan due to vulgar language and obscene scenes. "I don't understand why we keep taking pleasure from all the silly things that happen in Pakistan", she said.

She went on to sing praises for her neighboring country saying: "Some of my closest friends are Pakistani".

(Web Desk) - Urwa Hocane lambasted Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker over her anti-Pakistan remarks and the ignorance surrounding them. While Gohar and Armeena termed Swara's comments as a way of garnering attention.

The actor's response came after severe backlash following distasteful comments about Pakistan. She again called Pakistan a "failed state", one that has "no law and order". Naturally, many Pakistanis were extremely hurt by these statements, especially since many were rooting for the film and were extremely unhappy about it being banned.

However, as the heated debate continued online, Swara wrote on Twitter, "Dushman ka dushman Dost!"

The Ranjhaana actor lastly tweeted that matters of government of a country and its people are distinct, and her love for Pakistan remains unchanged. In the first video, Swara is heard telling a Pakistani TV anchor just how mesmerized she was by the hospitality of Pakistani people.

Responding to another user, Swara added: "I wish paid trolls would at the very least re-arrange the sentences and run a spell check before their paid tweet attacks #PaidTrollsKiPolKhulGayi". "Lahore remains one of my soul cities".
