Released US prisoner speaks on ordeal

Marine Amir Hekmati said he had accepted his fate - that he would spend 10 years in an Iranian prison with little hope of being released before that decade passed. For his part, Hekmati declined to elaborate on his 4 1/2 years inside an Iranian prison. Rezaian's family reported that his health deteriorated in prison, where he lost weight and suffered from high blood pressure, and that he was held for months in isolation without access to a lawyer.
