Twenty-eight-year-old Bliss Barber Worrell pleaded guilty to federal charges on Monday, admitting that she didn't tell authorities what she knew about the officer's 2014 assault on the suspect. She said an unspecified number of Worrell's colleagues, who were aware of the incident and did not act appropriately, have left the office. Worrell's former boss, Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce , called it "the worst thing that's happened to me in 20 years as a prosecutor ".
