Undertale coming to Switch brings indie games' GameMaker Studio engine with it

Considering that teaser involved Splatoon's Inkling Girl, it's nearly fitting that Splatoon 2 will be one of the first Switch games to enjoy something new this year.
Some of the characters coming to Smash for Switch are hidden but you can kind of make them out. Pit and Marth aren't as iconic as the other characters seen in the trailer, but both the Fire Emblem and Kid Icarus game franchises got second leases on life thanks to the Super Smash Bros. games. Even though it took roughly a year to get a hint about its existence, the Nintendo Switch will finally feel whole again with confirmation of everyNintendo fan's favorite party fighting series. Plus, given that it's been almost four years since that last game, it seems reasonable that a whole new game is more than possible.
With a new game coming and Nintendo's popularity booming, this could be the ideal time for the company to finally capitalise fully on the esports market.
Furthermore, Nintendo is also adding characters to the roster in the form of the Inklings from Splatoon. The good news is that it looks like it will be arriving on the Switch, as announcedduring the most recent Nintendo Direct presentation where it will be known as Taiko Drum Master: Nintendo Switch Version. Of course, it will also see the return of Mario, and Link.
The teaser trailer for the game featured Mario, Link, and the Inklings from the Splatoon series. Switch, and is it an enhanced port or an entirely new game?

The GameCube's original Luigi's Mansion will join its sequel on 3DS, meanwhile, bringing in refreshed graphics and a boss rush mode.
This is just one of the new games announced for Nintendo's systems (hey, the 3DS is still being supported for now).
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker - a port of the Wii U game has a July 13 release date on the Nintendo Switch and 3DS.
