Tucker Carlson uses Ilhan Omar as example of how 'dangerous' immigration is

In March, a wave of radio showrecordings from 2008 that were resurfaced by a liberal group featured Carlson making racist, sexist and homophobic statements, which included Carlson calling Iraqis "semiliterate primitive monkeys".
Omar, who fled civil war in Somalia with her family in 1991 and spent four years in a refugee camp in Kenya before arriving in the USA as a child under a resettlement program and making history when she was elected to Congress last year, responded to Carlson on Twitter.
He added: "But she isn't grateful, not at all".
Omar's allies on the left amplify Omar's all-purpose charge of racism to stigmatize her political opponents.
He was responding Wednesday on his show, "Tucker Carlson Tonight", to criticism of Fox News hosts by the freshman Muslim congresswoman. "Because we work at Fox News, and they've got our back, and we're thankful for that".
The pundit continued, claiming: "After everything that America has done for Omar, and for her family, she hates this country more than ever".
After recounting Rep. Omar's perilous journey to the United States as a Somali immigrant and how her family was successfully granted asylum, Carlson said: "Ilhan Omar has a lot to be grateful for, but she isn't not at all". Omar has made a career of denouncing anyone and anything in her way as racist.
"Omar may be from another country but she learned young that crying racism pays".
He said that in some ways, the real "villain" in the Omar story isn't Omar. They just try to silence us. As we have noted many times, however, she is a bottomless fount of grievances and complaints. Carlson did not mention the travel ban but appeared to connect Omar's origin to an immigration policy prescription. Although Omar was elected to Congress to represent Minnesota's Fifth District at the age of 36, when it comes to her life in the United States, she is the eternal victim: nobody knows the trouble she's seen.
Along with documenting her illegal filing of tax returns with a man who was not her legal husband, the new documents obtained by the Star Tribune reveal the Omar campaign's efforts in 2018 to keep the story of her marriage to Elmi out of the media. We want to reassure you that it is not going to happen. Why? "She was trying to make the point that Republicans didn't care for the troops".
"If she wasn't a member of Congress, she would be a member of the KKK", Goldstein claimed. This has nothing to do with Israel, they are direct attacks on American Jews, a minority community in the United States. That is exactly what she is doing.
Early last month, Omar was ordered to repay her former campaign committee almost $3,500 for using campaign money to pay for personal travel and help with her tax returns.
