Trumps attend wedding of treasury secretary and actress

Melania Trump wore a Gilles Mendel silk chiffon gown with Manolo Blahnik pumps, according to the first lady's office. Recently she has moved to producing movies, something Mnuchin also dabbled in prior to joining the Trump administration.

The wedding planner for the occasion was Lauryn Prattes, while floral designs were handled by Amaryllis.

In addition to worrying about the deadline for raising the debt ceiling, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin has another very important date to remember: his wedding this Saturday to Louise Linton.

Linton, known for her diamond collection and acting roles on a 2009 episode of Cold Case and the 2016 movie Cabin Fever, had been engaged to Mnuchin since 2015. Mnuchin worked for two decades at Goldman Sachs, launched a successful hedge fund and even worked in the movie biz, where he has amassed a fortune.

In late May, Linton agreed to step down as chief executive of Dune Entertainment, a company that Mnuchin had divested from when he joined the Cabinet, after Sen.

The newlyweds will soon be moving into their stately Massachusetts Avenue Heights mansion, which they purchased for around $12 million.
