The extent of his injuries remains unclear.

Hollywood star Tom Cruise appeared to have suffered an apparent injury while filming a stunt for the action-thriller "Mission: Impossible 6", reports said on Sunday.

According to TMZ, the actor was attempting a stunt involving jumping from some rigging on a building when he fell and hit the building hard.

In video obtained by TMZ, Cruise is attached to a harness while making the leap.

Cruise has a ton of experience performing his own stunts, which have played a large role in the marketing of the Mission: Impossible film series.

Cruise can later be seen limping off and collapsing following the accident.

Deadline has reached out to Paramount for comment. In the film, Cruise's character clings on the outside of a plane, and he performed it all himself!

There is no surprise Cruise was in such a unsafe situation, and it's also not the first time something like this has happened considering numerous man's films feature risky action scenes.

The actor is now in London shooting the highly-anticipated action flick.

Mission: Impossible 6 is due out on July 27, 2018.

He said: "What Cruise is doing in this movie I believe will top anything that's come before". The cast includes Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Michelle Monaghan, Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, and Alec Baldwin.
