Woods will begin his quest for a fourth U.S. Open title at 1.47 PM local time (1747 GMT) at Shinnecock Hills in Southampton, New York.
The American rivals will head to the first tee at 6:47pm (BST) on Thursday along with Woods, who has not played in the second major of the year since he suffered a humiliating early exit at Chambers Bay three years ago.
He also won the 2000 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach and the 2002 championship at Bethpage.
Tiger and his ex-wife Elin Nordegren spent their 2004 wedding night aboard the vessel which is named "Privacy", ironic considering his very public affairs led to the couple's eventual divorce. There's plenty of amenities on board like a Jacuzzi, theater and a gym all available to pass the time. For Tiger Woods, that apparently means pulling up his 155-foot yacht and staying there.
The New York Post's Page Six celebrity news site said Woods had made a decision to spend the week of the tournament on his 155-foot yacht named "Privacy". He tried to sell "Privacy" in 2011 but found no takers at his price.
The 42-year-old has shown glimpses of his old brilliance this year after a successful spinal fusion last April, but he is still seeking his first tournament victory since 2013.
