'The Walking Dead' Season 8 Promotes Three Actors to Series Regulars

AMC released the key art of "Fear The Walking Dead" Season 3 and it shows Nick Clark (Frank Dillane) looking dejected and bloodied in the backdrop of a desert.

Warning: Contains spoilers for The Walking Dead season seven.

AMC's "Fear the Walking Dead" will come back for season 3 and 4 but with a different set of showrunners.

Whether everybody now involved in the series is safe for the foreseeable future remains to be seen, but we wouldn't hedge our bets on everybody making it through season 8 unscathed. Entertainment One manages all worldwide television and home entertainment sales for the show outside of North America and the AMC channels globally.

What do you think of AMC's decision to up Steven Ogg, Katelyn Nacon and Pollyanna McIntosh to series regulars in Season 8?

"It's going to become a bit more kinetic and fast-moving, because that's where the story is going", Scott Gimple said of "The Walking Dead" Season 8. Jadis just showed up as a recurring character in three episodes of the seond half of Season 7.

Season 3 introduces several new characters such as Troy (Daniel Sharman), Jake (Sam Underwood) and Russell (Dayton Callie). Steve Yeun's Glenn and Michael Cuditz's Abraham were killed in the opener of Season 7, which surprised "TWD" fans. The two will replace Dave Erickson, who will exit the show after season 3. She is being held captive by the same American militia group that shot Luciana.

Ahead of the upcoming season finale, fans of the hit series last saw Jadis betraying Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his group to Negan during the battle against the Saviors, while Simon will be filling in the shoes long departed by Negan's former ally, Dwight (Austin Amelio).

The Walking Dead will return to screens on both sides of the Atlantic sometime in October, a date is still to be fully confirmed.
