I won't even embed the video until the end of the post-I will simply say that some sort of Far Cry news is coming during the big show tomorrow, and if you're interested, you should watch it.
That means that this new Far Cry - which will be announced at the Game Awards on Friday morning is a direct sequel to the last one, but that that direct as it's set quite a number of years after Far Cry 5.
But anyway, enjoy the teaser trailer and stay tuned for more! In the interim, Ubisoft has published a brief teaser giving us a glimpse of the game's post-apocalyptic theme.
According to the teaser trailer, the worldwide reveal of the latest Far Cry will be made during The Game Awards 2018. As you may remember, Far Cry 5 ended in Hope County essentially blowing out, so it looks like that could be continued. If you managed to finish Far Cry 5, then you know this seems pretty familiar. After years of nuclear winter and raging storms, things appear to be getting back to normal, with flowers blooming and blue skies appearing once more. In the meantime: did you play Far Cry 5? Because of this, it seems likely that whatever this new game is for will be an entirely separate experience rather than just DLC for FC5.
