North Korea is trying to amass a bitcoin war chest

Hackers from Kim Jong Un's regime are increasing their attacks on cryptocurrency exchanges in South Korea and related sites, according to a new report from security researcher FireEye Inc ., Bloomberg reported. Some of the attacks were carried out through spear phishing, a process in which a malicious actor sends out fraudulent emails with the intent to distribute malware.

Destiny 2 Under Maintenance

Destiny 2's Leviathan Raid didn't go live with today's Weekly Reset (which hands out new Nightfall and Flashpoint challenges). Leviathan will go live on September 13 at 10:00 a.m. Players will need to be in a power range of 260-280 if you want to capitalise on the raid, so the servers being down this afternoon is not going to help if you are aiming to get there fast.

Apple announces new Watch with cellular connection, TV with 4K compatibility

It will have smart activity coaching, a redesigned workout app, and more. (It's admittedly a little bit anxiety inducing.) The look and feel of the heart rate sensor are basically the same, though. Along with phone calls, of course, they'll also be able to access the internet, meaning that they can stream over 40 million songs direct to the watch from Apple Music .

Destiny 2 Reaches over 1.2 Million Concurrent Players Online

Bungie revealed on their official Twitter that the game has hit 1.2 million concurrent players. Did any of you jump on to Destiny 2 last week during launch? Activision Blizzard previously said that the Destiny 2 beta was ahead of the original title and said the game was scheduled to beat expectations.

Nintendo Direct Set for September 14

The Nintendo Direct will kick-off at 3 p.m. PT/ 6 p.m. ET on September 13th, according to the company. As Nintendo has stated that this Nintendo Direct will last for 45 minutes, it's nearly certain that this Direct will focus on a whole host of new updates on upcoming games and, potentially, a handful of surprise announcements too.
