'Stranger Things' Is Doing a 'Fortnite' Crossover

Several data miners found new Stranger Things inspired skins Thursday morning.

This isn't the first crossover between the worlds of Fortnite and Stranger Things.

With just hours to go until Stranger Things 3 arrives, The Upside Down appears to be leaking out into other realities, as Fortnite players have begun to spot portals from the popular Netflix series inside the game. The Fortnite Master Twitter account, which although unaffiliated with developer Epic Games, has posted two tweets showcasing the new arrivals. Recently, a "Scoops Ahoy" ice cream shop from Stranger Things 3 popped up in the game's Mega Mall.

Big things are also in store for Lucas' little sister Erica (Priah Ferguson) who prepares to go on a "wild mission to save Hawkins from a risky and unexpected new threat".

It's possible we'll get some kind of player-vs-enemy-vs-player action, or perhaps even a twisted version of the Fortnite map. Following the streaming platform's suggestion in an E3 Coliseum event last month that we might be seeing more of a tie-in soon, some players have now spotted something exciting - portals very similar to those seen in the show have started appearing in Fortnite's Mega Mall.

Assuming it is a new event and not just a chance to buy skins, the Stranger Things crossover would take place during the 14 Days of Summer celebration.
