Star Wars Battlefront 2 Doing Great Things With DLC Starting Next Month

'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' Merchandise Reveals Baby Porgs

In this case the first season will be all about The Last Jedi, and introduce new elements from the film.

Single-player can only be enjoyed to a certain point, however, the title's multiplayer modes are fully available.

Star Wars Battlefront II is just around the corner and EA is ready to spill the beans on what fans can expect from Season 1 of their free DLC content.

Similar to Destiny 2's factions, the side you align with will grant you special challenges that, upon completion, will give you unique, faction-specific rewards. Most likely starting around December players will get a chance to join up with their favorite alliance in an event based on the highly anticipated Episode 8. The winning faction which completes the most challenges that week will be handed a special Crate of high-power upgrades for Finn or Captain Phasma as a reward.

For everyone who doesn't pre order the game, Star Wars Battlefront 2 arrives on November 17. She has been long-waiting to see Johnson's take on the story and how he manages to put some balance in joining the new and old, iconic characters of the "Star Wars" franchise.

Unfortunately, EA Access is only available on Xbox One and PC, so this option isn't now available to those on PS4. They can be purchased with in-game credits during that week. The maps include the planet Crait for Galactic Assault and D'Qar for Starfighter Assault.

Whatever Rian Johnson did with Star Wars: The Last Jedi, he obviously impressed the bosses. Poe Dameron's X-Wing will get some upgrades, while Tallie Lintra's A-Wing will be unlocked. For the first time since Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi, the world will find out what's become of Luke.

Throughout December, faction choices will continue to matter, and players will be able to see each faction's progress reflected in-game.
