After a unanimous vote Friday, leaders of the Standing Rock Sioux tribe issued a statement asking all Dakota Access Pipeline protestors to vacate their camps by January 30 and to cancel plans for a winter camp. He said they were ready to proceed in good faith. The 1,172-mile pipeline is almost finished except for a section that would cross under Lake Oahe, which the tribe relies on for water.
