Soft Gold colour for the OnePlus 5 incoming

OnePlus 5 Mint Gold could be its next color

The device will also go on sale on the OnePlus store at 12 AM on August 9.

After initially launching the two variants based on their RAM and storage options, OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus 5 Soft Gold variant.

If you've been meaning to purchase the OnePlus 5 but didn't want to buy it in the Midnight Black or Slate Gray color, perhaps the Soft Gold will entice you enough to open your wallet.

The OnePlus 5 is available in a new color option as of Monday. All of the specifications for the phone are the same as the Slate Gray OP5, meaning it offers 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

OnePlus today introduced another color option for its reigning flagship killer, 5, in India.

OnePlus has recently announced the launch of a new limited edition variant of its recently launched flagship, OnePlus 5. To recall, the company had originally announced that the phone would be sold in Slate Grey (6GB/64GB) and Midnight Black (8GB/128GB) choices. It has been stated that the Soft Gold variant of the OnePlus 5 has a metal body that is paired with white front panel and bezels as seen in many other gold variant smartphones. Getting a perfectly even and light color starts with running premium aluminum alloy through a diamond cutter. Each second matters in this process, or the anodised colour takes on a different shade. It comes with the 5.5 inches Full HD Optic AMOLED display and powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.

Keeping OnePlus 5's design and the dual camera setup's uncanny resemblance to the iPhone 7 Plus in mind, a RED colour variant was not a far-fetched idea. Even though the 3,300mAh battery of the handset is not necessarily a large one, it does support fast charging, so if it runs out of energy, it won't take a lifetime to charge it again. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, GPS / A-GPS and USB Type-C (v2.0).
