Police and emergency crews flooded the scene.

One witness saw the suspect tossing smoke bombs in front of the restaurant before watching a security guard get shot.

Officials said hundreds of people, most of whom college students, were inside the establishment at the time of the shooting, according to KABC.

There has been a mass shooting at a Californian bar, according to U.S. media reports.

A law enforcement source told the LA Times that approximately 30 shots were fired and that victims were at multiple locations as they fled.
