Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018) spotted online, full specifications revealed

Evidence has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) will roll out next year with an Infinity Display.

The global unlocked variant of the Galaxy A5, with model number SM-A530F, will have a 412 x 846 screen and run on Android 7.1.1, stated the report. The device is listed with the model number SM-J337 which is said to be the Samsung Galaxy J3 2018.

The listing on GFXBench reveals that the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018) comes with a 5-inch HD (1280x720 pixels) display with 5 finger gesture support. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with the customized TouchWiz UI laid on top. It also offered Exynos 7570 processor, 1.5GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage.

In the camera department, the Samsung phone sports an 8MP rear camera and an LED flash. The front camera is the same, 5MP unit and both cameras can record 1080p videos.

There is no information regarding the pricing and availability of the device as of now.

There's one unusual thing about the new phone, according to the listing, it will come with an 8 MP back camera whereas the last year's J3 had a better, 13 MP rear camera.

In our review of the Galaxy A7 2017, we pointed out that the phone featured immaculate build quality, a wide camera aperture and even IP68 water-resistance, which is very impressive considering Samsung only brought these features to flagship smartphones. But since, the SM-J327 was launched in the USA it was powered by Snapdragon 425/430 chipset. The Galaxy J3 (2017) along with Galaxy J5 (2017) and Galaxy J7 (2017) are launched in May this year. As mentioned above, the upcoming Galaxy A5 (2018) and Galaxy A7 (2018) are pegged to arrive with Infinity Display design.
