Bruce Rowley, an ardent fan of pop superstar Taylor Swift, has robbed a bank in CT in hopes that he would win over the singer. Rhode Island troopers spotted his vehicle and pursued him into CT, where Rowley was apprehended.

According to police, Rowley entered a bank and demanded money from a teller.

On April 5, Ansonia police said Bruce Rowley, 26, was arrested and charged with robbery in the second degree and larceny in fourth degree. He's been arrested and held on a $100,000 bail.

Connecticut State Police jumped in deploying drop sticks to disable Rowley's jeep.

Global popstar Taylor Swift might just be another victim to her massive fan following, as a man who wanted to woo the singer robbed a bank in Conneticut, US. He also tried to contact the singer but she wasn't home. Police say Rowley refused to stop and eventually entered CT.

It was while being taken back to the police department, the man confessed to having a crush on Taylor Swift, NBC quotes the police report.

The unnamed guy was caught trying to scale a wall at the singer's estate on Sunday afternoon (08Apr18), according to TMZ, and her security team gave him multiple warnings to get down before they called the police.

Meanwhile, in California, a man was arrested Sunday for allegedly trespassing at Swift's Beverly Hills mansion.
