Rishi Kapoor wants to see Pakistan before he dies!

Farooq Abdullah

Rishi Kapoor family's lineal haveli is located in the Kissa Khwani Bazaar locality in Pakistan.

The legendary actor, whose ancestors were from Pakistan, got emotional in his tweet and stated, "Farooq Abdhulla ji, Salaam!" Totally agree with you, sir. Accept it, I am 65 years old and I want to see Pakistan before I die. J&K's National Conference supremo stated that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) belongs to Pakistan. This is the only way we can solve our problem. "Bas karva Dijiye. Jai Mata Di!", said the actor.

"Both India and Pakistan must sit together with the people of both parts of Kashmir and work out internal autonomy for both parts within the existing borders". "If they want peace, the government will have to talk to Pakistan and will have to give autonomy to us as well as to them", Abdullah told reporters on Saturday.

"A Pakistan Minister very rightly said that you forget that the part which is yours was acquired by an Instrument of Accession". You forget the instrument of accession and say that that part is yours.

Blaming mainstream politicians for the prevailing "political uncertainty and chaos" in Jammu and Kashmir, the Hurriyat Conference chairman asked Abdullah to revisit annals of history and claimed that the latter was speaking against the wishes and aspirations of the people.

Abdullah also said that the Kashmiri youths and others who are seeking "azadi" are misguided and they should stop asking for it. The interlocutor has held talks but talks alone is not the solution. Taking to micro-blogging site, the Kapoor & Sons actor also expressed his approval with Jammu & Kashmir's ex-Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah's view.
