Rich the Kid, a Queens-born rapper, dropped his debut album The World Is Yours a year ago.

Eyewitnesses to the incident reported as many as 10 gunshots being fired during the incident outside Westlake Recording Studio in west Hollywood, Los Angeles.

"The victims stated, three black male suspects, confronted them in the alley behind a business and demanded their money and jewelry". The victims were then physically assaulted by the suspects.

A deputy from the L.A. County Sheriff's Department confirmed to Newsweek that "at approximately 3.30 p.m. on Santa Monica boulevard. three individuals were robbed and there were several shots fired". Multiple shots were fired, but luckily no one was hit. One of Roger's entourage was treated for injuries at the scene after being beaten with a firearm.
