Resident Evil 3 Remake cover art leaks ahead of official announcement

Resident Evil 3 Remake art has been spotted on PSN

Speculation has run rampant about the possibility of a Resident Evil 3 remake, especially after the release of the incredibly ambitious Resident Evil 2 remake that released earlier in 2019.

The listing contains both Biohazard 3 and Biohazard 3 Z Version, the latter presumably being the uncut version. Gamstat, which tracks everything that's added on PSN, has unveiled the first covers for the European/American and Japanese versions of Resident Evil 3 Remake. The Game Awards on 13th December sounds like a good shout. The consistency of the design lends to that idea - maybe Resident Evil Resistance will be packaged in some way with Resident Evil 3 as a multiplayer off-shoot. There are three different covers, two featuring Nemesis, Jill Valentine and presumably Carlos Oliveira.

A couple of days ago, Capcom teased Resident Evil 3 Remake via a franchise Steam sale picture.

There is also artwork for Project Resistance which seems to have been renamed to the amazingly original title of Resident Evil Resistance, or as it will be called in Japan, Biohazard Resistance.

YouTube channel Spawn Wave reported in November that a Resident Evil 3 remake is in active development at Capcom, which matches what VGC has been told by a number of sources.
