SpaceX wins NASA deal to fly astronauts to space station
Since the NASA space shuttle program stopped in 2011, there has been no other way except the Russians to get any nation's astronauts to the ISS. Similar contract was given to Boeing in May. The SpaceX missions will mean a savings of $80 million for each NASA astronaut, as that is what the Russia's Soyuz rockets cost to get astronauts and supplies to the ISS.

Eureka: Masala the red panda missing from Sequoia Park Zoo
Native to central China, the animals have been labeled endangered as only 1,864 live in their native habitat, while another 300 live in zoos and breeding centers, according to the zoo's website . There have been reported sightings of Masala near a golf course and again in the forest behind the zoo but none of the tips were confirmed. Staff were watching the exhibit's three other pandas.

Audi is the luxury unit of Volkswagen AG. The VW owners said they were concerned that any fixes will hurt their fuel economy. The offer announced Monday goes to owners of 482,000 cars in the US, many who are angry at the company because they paid extra for the cars to be environmentally sensitive without losing peppy acceleration.
