Prince William and Kate Middleton meet survivors of French attacks


Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton visited the French capital on Friday, in a diplomatic move that analysts believe is meant to soften a divorce between Britain and the European Union. And Kate Middleton is reportedly not too happy.

The Duke, 34, and Duchess of Cambridge, 35, were in Paris for a two-day trip to highlight strong Franco-British ties after the referendum on June 23 past year.

During the Friday, Kate dazzled in three outfits.

The Duke of Cambridge has been reminded of his controversial Swiss ski weekend after a French group performed one of the songs featured during his "lads only" break.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have met survivors of recent French terror attacks during a visit to the military hospital Les Invalides in Paris.

They also plan to attend a France-Wales rugby match.

A thick silver bracelet, ring and long earrings completed her look for the event, which was hosted by Her Majesty's Ambassador to France, Edward Llewellyn.

Later the couple surprised tourists and art lovers at the Musee d'Orsay, the highly popular museum housed in a former railway station, by arriving for a visit that had not been announced to the public in advance.

"We think you are very strong and very fearless, you've made awesome progress", the Duke of Cambridge said, according to the Daily Express. Britain's Prince William is taking flak for going on a ski holiday instead of attending a major royal engagement with his family.

William has announced he is stepping down as an air ambulance helicopter pilot to focus more on royal business.

Asked if the prince had any comment on the furore, a Kensington Palace spokesman declined to answer directly and said:' All I can say is that the Duke is very much looking forward to the visit'.
