It's a big day for the British royal family: 4-year-old Prince George, third in line to the throne, has started school! The duo were then taken into the school by Haslem.
Four-year-old Prince George was brought to the prestigious Thomas's Battersea school where he and his dad were welcomed by the Head of Lower School.
The pair were met by the head of lower school on arrival, who shook Prince George's hand and led him to his reception classroom.
The precious young royal sported his school's navy uniform of a sweater with red accents, a light blue shirt, and shorts. Yes, Prince George has started his schooling as he was walked into the prep school holding his father's hand.
"The Duke of Cambridge will drop off Prince George this morning as planned".
William said later that George's first day at school had been a success.
According to the website for Thomas's Battersea, the facility stresses that its "most important school rule is to 'be kind'". Will we make friends? "And then they will be here eventually for full days and then we start to introduce them to the breadth of the curriculum".
George and his classmates will be taught a range of subjects and activities from ballet and art to drama, French, music and physical education.
"George hasn't the slightest idea what will happen to him" was amused a few weeks ago the duchess Catherine with parents of pupils of Thomas's Battersea, that it promised to meet in the courtyard of the school.
