Roland is a sideline reporter and commentator for the Rivals website, which covers various sports at Texas A&M.

Police say somebody recognized Roland from the news reports and called them.

According to Houston Police, Roland was last seen around 5 p.m. on Sunday, walking alone in a store in a store at Galleria shopping mall.

The roommate said he followed Roland to her home in a blue truck as she was parked in the driveway. Her Jeep was found with her phone and other personal items inside.

Houston police say she was unharmed but she was taken to hospital in an ambulance for observation.

KPRC reported that Roland texted her roommate about a suspicious man she saw in a Walgreens who followed her to home in a blue truck.

CBS affiliate KHOU reports that police found 29-year-old Courtney Roland's Jeep Cherokee in the Galleria area just after midnight on Sunday, but Roland remained missing as of Monday morning. "I am purchasing an iPad". She texted a roommate, telling her a suspicious man at a Walgreens was following her.

Friends and family of Courtney Roland have been posting on social media about her disappearance, hoping to get information on her whereabouts. Courtney Roland was last seen the evening of 1/6 in the Heights. Her phone was inside the vehicle.

"We don't have an excessive number of points of interest at the present time; we're simply glad she's OK", Steve Roland told the Houston Chronicle. She will be taken to a hospital to be evaluated, but thankfully she was found.
