Pokemon Rumble Rush Announced And Soft Launched in Australia

Besides this game, Pokemon fans can also look forward to the Pokemon Sword and Shield game which will also be arriving in a few months time.

Pokemon Rumble Rush will be a free-to-play video game with in-game acquisitions.

There's a new game on the block available for Australians and it has been launched without any warning whatsoever.

Pokemon Rumble Rush was original as PokeLand back in 2017, but it seemingly left the map after the closed beta.

The game is available for only Android users yet but it will be available for iOS soon. The basics of the game will be familiar if you've ever played a Pokemon Rumble since the sub-series started on Wii in 2009: collect and upgrade clockwork Pokemon toys to run through a stage and fight a bunch of other Pokemon toys. Just like the current Pokemon game where you have to hunt for little creatures with your phone, Rumble Rush sends players to explore uncharted islands and battle wild Pokemon in the hope that some of them will join their teams. The former boosts Pokemon's stats and make it more effective in battle, while the latter allow Pokemon to temporarily call another Pokemon into battle.

This soft launch in Australia was first spotted by Android Police, and it hints at an official announcement soon.

"Pokemon Rumble Rush" is already available for download from the Aussie Play Store. Do you plan to playing this new mobile installment in the Pokemon franchise? It isn't entirely clear how Pokemon Rumble Rush will take advantage of mobile devices, other than the fact that there will be "easy-to-use controls and attacks that are pulled off with simple taps".
