Pet Sematary Trailer: Sometimes Dead Is Better

Pet Sematary Trailer: What’s Dead Should Stay Dead

But as the wise old man ominously notes, "Sometimes dead is better". When their cat is hit by a truck, they bury it in the pet cemetery near their new home - only to find out it is a place where the dead don't always stay dead.

Paramount Pictures has released the first trailer for the Pet Sematary remake, which arrives in theaters on April 19, 2019.

Jason Clarke and Amy Seimetz play Louis and Rachel Creed, the mom and dad of a young family that's new to this country road. We also see shots a scalpel, an eerie spiral carved into a tree, and blood smeared across a vehicle window and a door while Jud adds, "There is something up in those woods, something that brings things back". Even at the end of The Shining, Wendy marries Dick Halloran, people forget that, that's not in the movie, but Stephen King has a heart.

Just within the past year or so, there have been new adaptations of a number of King's works, including It, The Dark Tower, Gerald's Game, and 1922, plus an original TV show set in King's world, Castle Rock.

What do you think of the trailer for Pet Sematary? I'm actually curious about this film.

The original 1989 movie (in which King appeared as a minister) made more than $57 million.

"Pet Sematary" is the second King remake taken on by Paramount, following the summer blockbuster "It", which became the highest grossing horror film of all time.

Another spooky Stephen King adaptation is coming to theaters. Based on the trailer above, this looks like it'll fit the bill nicely.
