ESPN analysts Joey Galloway and Jesse Palmer discussed their latest top five for the College Football Playoff rankings on Saturday night.

Burrow done 31 of 39 passes and ran for 64 yards.

The Crimson Tide (8-1, 5-1, No. 3 CFP) rallied from a 33-13 halftime deficit to three times to pull within a touchdown in the fourth quarter. The Tide's four frantic touchdowns at the end of Saturday's game to avoid a blowout loss might help, as would a convincing win over Auburn later this month.

Another woman told CNN, "I think it's ridiculous".

Best effort: Bateman caught seven passes for 203 yards and a touchdown.

Worst pass: Clifford also was picked by Winfield at the Minny 6 - on a ball thrown up for grabs - with the Lions driving in the second quarter. Edwards-Helaire scored on a one yard run with 26 seconds left.

USA Today's George Schroeder puts Alabama at No. 8 in his rankings and writes Alabama's potential 11-1 record would "not stack up against a 12-1 conference champion".

Alabama couldn't get out of its own way in the first half, as turnovers and an inability to move the ball with any consistency ultimately doomed the Tide despite a sensational comeback attempt. "I was really happy with the way we responded".

Alabama managed to bring it within a touchdown on three separate occasions, but the Tigers responded each time to keep the game out of reach.

"We've got to change at some point".

It doesn't matter which National Football League team you root for - if you are tuned into the annual Alabama-LSU matchup on Saturday afternoon, odds are you will be watching at least one of your team's future players.

Six-one loss teams are on their heels in Alabama (8-1), Georgia (8-1), Oklahoma (8-1), OR (8-1), Penn State (8-1) and Utah (8-1).

Texas A&M Football probably did not envision their best-case scenario for this season as spoiling the playoff hopes of teams down the stretch, but one week into November, that is exactly the case.

The LSU offense struck back with an 11-play, 75-yard drive that ended with a five-yard touchdown run by Edwards-Helaire.

With the score 46-34 with 90 seconds to play, Tagovailoa (who finished 21-for-40 for 418 yards, four touchdowns and an interception) hit DeVonta Smith for an 85-yard touchdown pass that provided the final margin.
