OnePlus 5T will be priced the same as OnePlus 5

To further entice the public for the OnePlus 5T launch, the company also released a teaser video showing the all-new slick appearance of the flagship smartphone. That's based on official documentation from O2, a UK-based carrier, but the price was the same as that of the current OnePlus 5's pricing.

Scheduled to be announced on November 16, the OnePlus 5T is rumoured to feature near-identical internals to the OnePlus 5; it should pack the same Snapdragon 835 processor, 6/8GB of RAM and 16MP front-facing camera.

Presumably, it is determined to keep its reputation intact as a company that offers feature-rich flagships at cheap prices. This would be special, since the company does not usually make launch events.

However, owing to the phone sporting a new 18:9 and possibly 6-inch display, it will look and feel like a major upgrade in the design department - a fact that may not go down too well with existing OnePlus 5 buyers.

No, there won't be a glass build OnePlus 5T later this month. The e-commerce platform has put up a page of the OnePlus 5T where it also mentions that there will be an early access sale for Prime members who can order the handset from 4:30pm onwards on November 21. There have been some issues that have arisen with the OnePlus 5 since its launch, but overall it's still a great Android phone. OnePlus co-founder, Carl Pei has recently been tweeting photographs from an unnamed phone, which many believe may be the OnePlus 5T.

Last week, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau had indirectly hinted at the pricing of the OnePlus 5T.

For once, Evan Blass, the reporter star of VentureBeat famous for his predictions surprisingly accurate, will be wrong: the OnePlus 5T will not come out after November 20, 2017, as he claimed, but on November 16, 2017. Coming to the specification and features of the device, nothing is revealed much. The OnePlus 5T is powered by 6GB RAM coupled with 64 GB internal storage that can not be further expanded via microSD card.

Interestingly, in the back-view images of the OnePlus 5T, we could see an oval shaped Fingerprint sensor.
