CES 2019: Nvidia RTX 2060 is here, it's faster than a GTX 1070Ti and costs just $349

With ray-tracing being implemented into laptop technology, gaming laptops are certainly becoming more interesting. The RTX GPU architecture features RT Cores that specifically take care of ray tracing as to not impact overall performance. Prices go all the way up to $3,999, with the Triton 900 launching in March. The Alienware m17 is 23mm thick and weighs 5.79 pounds, so it's still bulkier than most laptops.

A bundle has also been announced including a choice between Anthem and Battlefield V for future purchases of RTX 2060 and 2070. Combining a dual-intake, dual-exhaust design with load balanced heat pipes, the m15 and m17 are created to counteract any thermal throttling you may encounter during gameplay. We noticed little to no screen tearing as a demonstrator played Assassin's Creed Odyssey on the laptop. (Nvidia will continue to sell lower-end cards in the existing GTX "Pascal" line.) It will go on sale January 15 for $349, an appealingly low price that marks the new entry point into the fledgling world of ray tracing in video games. The new m15, meanwhile, starts at $1,579.99.

Of course, this won't feel like a MacBook Air in your backpack, so understand that this is about as portable as a 17.3-inch gaming laptop gets.

Pricing and availability for the GS75 Stealth and PS63 Modern weren't mentioned.

Razer only makes products that cater to gamers, so its laptops will always be of the gaming-friendly variety. During the press conference at the CES 2019, the company officially revealed that it will be bringing the new graphics chips to gaming laptops, which will also include mobile RTX 2080. The base model of the 15.6-inch display comes with a Full HD panel like before.

The device packs an interesting hinge mechanism, as you can see in the image above, as well as specs that will let it compete against all the other models.

Rounding up the MSI GS75 Stealth's armory of tech is Intel's latest 8th Gen Core i7 processors, up to three ultra fast M.2 SSD storage drives, a SteelSeries-designed per-key RGB keyboard, and a brand new and state-of-the-art cooling system, the latter utilising three whirlwind blade fans and seven heat pipes to keep the system cool and quiet.
