Reliance Jio's aggressive pricing on 4G data plans is forcing other telecom operators to come up countermeasures.

The above chart from TRAI indicates about the 3G download speed of BSNL network as compared with rivals such as Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular, Vodafone, Tata Docomo, Aircel, Reliance, etc.

The data provided by Airtel under this offer is free, and users will have to claim this before 31st March 2017.

Reliance Jio commercially launched services on September 5 previous year with the launch of inaugural free voice and data services, which it extended in December till March 31, 2017. The move seems to be an attempt to take on Reliance Jio's ultra-low cost plans.

"Data was initially split equally between day and night time but now these limits have been removed". Recently Jio has offered 500MB data for 28 Day on recharge of Rs 99.

It must be noted that the monthly cap of the free data offer is set at 10GB.
