NFL unveils Jaguars 2018 preseason schedule

Patriots-Eagles preseason

The Dolphins will make their first roadtrip of the year when they travel to play the Carolina Panthers for their second preseason game in Week 2 (Aug. 16-20).

Below is the team's official news release on their preseason schedule. The contest, which will be broadcast nationally on CBS, will mark the first time the two clubs have ever met during the preseason.

As NFL fans sit back patiently waiting for the regular season schedules to come out, we have the summer dates to hold us over for now.

The preseason slate the New Orleans Saints will face in August is missing most of the usual suspects the team has played in past preseasons.

The preseason concludes in Week 4 (Aug. 30-31) as Miami plays at Atlanta.

The Vikings haven't played a preseason contest in the Mile High City since September 3, 1987.

The Panthers will be able to incorporate linebacker Thomas Davis into their lineup throughout the preseason, even though he will be suspended for the first four games of the season - suspensions only apply for the regular season.

On Aug. 9, the Ravens will host the Los Angeles Rams, whom they have never defeated (0-4) in preseason play.

The team will have four games, starting with a game at the San Francisco 49ers during the week of Aug 9-13. Don't expect to see too much of the Steelers' stars though - the 36-year old Roethlisberger has only played in a single preseason game each of the past two seasons. They have won their last three preseason match-ups against the Jets, including a 22-18 victory in the teams' most recent meeting in 2016. In 2017, Denver finished with a flawless 4-0 preseason record. The Redskins wrap-up their preseason schedule Thursday August 30th at the Baltimore Ravens.

Hall of Fame Game: Thursday, Aug. 2 vs. It includes appearances by two quarterbacks who had key roles in propelling the Bills into the playoffs last season to end a 17-year drought.

Final dates and times will be announced over the next month.

Why to watch: It will be the first chance to see the new-look Titans - new head coach, new players, new uniforms - on the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field.
