Nemanja Matic: Pogba will improve but 'needs to take more responsibility'

Alexis Sanchez has continued his impressive goal record at Wembley Stadium, as the forward found the back of the net for Manchester United against Tottenham in the FA Cup semi-final.

The Dutchman missed out on Spurs' semi-final defeat to Chelsea last season through injury. In the midst of some efficacious Spurs pressure following Alli's goal, which saw Son Heung-Min grow in confidence and Christian Eriksen go close to doubling their lead, Sanchez struck decisively again from an exquisite Paul Pogba cross.

But Alexis Sanchez levelled in the 24th minute and Ander Herrera struck the victor in the second half.

"I'm not expecting him to be phenomenal every match, because that is really, really hard, but to keep a certain level, that's the challenge".

"We're getting used to playing at Wembley, which is good, but we've won nothing yet", Herrera said. Tottenham started with a bang, ahead after 11 minutes and well on top, and once again we were left wondering if there was a more Jekyll and Hyde footballer now playing in the upper echelons of England's top flight than Pogba. At the centre of this was Herrera. "When you play away from home the supporters were phenomenal". "We deserved it", United manager Jose Mourinho told reporters, according to ManUtd.com. "We spoke. I had a chance to feel them, I spoke to some of them individually". However, he did recently score twice in a thrilling comeback win over Manchester City, and Matic said that Pogba must replicate that performance. The Red Devil's manager is clearly not happy with his choices as Manchester United has been linked with moves for Antoine Griezmann, Neymar, Lorenzo Insigne, and many others as they look to strengthen their team.

"At the end it would be fantastic the finish the season with a trophy I don't think it's about need or not need". In the League Cup final (in 2015) we lost 2-0 to Chelsea.

"He was saying that "I believe we are going to win but if we don't the season is a good season, a season where everyone is professional and everyone is bringing the club in the right direction".

"I want to play to win the Premier League and Champions League".
