Mourinho: Only two United players not under our 'control'

Zlatan Ibrahimovic revealed he will wear the No 10 shirt for Manchester United on Thursday

The powerful striker has had to come back stronger than ever before, with this possibly his worst injury during his career.

Ibrahimovic has signed another one-year-contract with Manchester United as the forward makes a speedy recovery from his injury. So far the Belgian has lived up to his hefty price tag, scoring three goals in three games.

"I think it [Ibrahimovic's return] is really good for the team".

"Of course, you don't fear the competition, you relish it", he said. "As long as you can make you better, make you win, you relish the challenge all the time".

There was much talk of a move to the MLS while AC Milan also became a possibility, but Zlatan had unfinished business in the Premier League. Lukaku believes the veteran's experience and character will benefit the team.

The England worldwide is delighted with the way Lukaku has settled into the team and admitted to being flattered at being compared to Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole, who created a fearsome strike partnership in United's treble-winning campaign of 1998-99.

"The two players are in this situation are Zlatan and Carrick - two players that at the end of the season who are going to sit and to analyse what they did and what they want to do".

"With his personality, his character and also his attributes as a football player he can bring us a lot and we will try to help him".

The United manager has suggested he will pick the striker in the best form once Ibrahimovic returns to full fitness after knee surgery, and Lukaku says the 35-year-old's comeback is a good thing - for him and the team.
