More rain, but sun returns later this week — Portland weather Sunday

Forecasters say a cold front will move into eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa on Monday afternoon, bringing with it a slight to marginal risk of severe weather. An isolated storm can't be ruled out this afternoon mainly to the southeast along I-44.
An line of showers moving through Oklahoma will approach the Red River by late morning.
Wed: High: 83 Low: 67 Mostly cloudy; scattered showers & storms. There will be a couple chances of showers and T'storms starting Friday night and going into the upcoming weekend. Some of the storms will have some heavy rain at times.
Monday's overall rain chance stands at 50 percent, according to the weather service.
Gusty southerly winds will howl across most of Kansas again Sunday when highs top-out near 100 degrees under a sunny to partly cloudy sky. High temperatures will be in the lower 90s. No, not a movie, it's very real and we'll start to feel the heat and higher humidity readings over the next few days as highs will be in the lower 90s.
