Monday looks hot with only a slight chance for rain

Stray Storms Continue As Cut-Off Low Lingers

No severe storms are expected, but strong wind gusts are possible with any storms that do develop.

The weekend we'll hang onto a few chances with partly cloudy skies. Monday is partly sunny and humid with a chance of showers or storms. No day looks to be a complete washout at this time, but there will be parts of the day and evening that will have a chance of showers and thunderstorms. The MaxTrack is mostly quiet, but a few isolated thundershowers are certainly possible through the late afternoon and evening.

A cold front will move over the state on Sunday and storm chances will wind down behind the boundary. Highs Thursday will top out in the upper 80s in some areas with overnight lows around 70. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 63. West wind 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Tue: High: 93 Low: 74 Partly cloudy; chance for evening/night storms. Increasing clouds, with a low around 73.

Tomorrow: Becoming mostly sunny.

Saturday: Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 81. Southwest wind around 5 miles per hour becoming calm after midnight. This means we will have "feel like" temperatures in the lower 90s again this week. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 76. Mostly sunny, with a high near 94. It will become cloudy Thursday night, but remain dry for evening fireworks displays.
