LeBron James and Dwyane Wade

On Tuesday, Gatorade released a special tribute promo with the theme of "Three is the Magic Number", honoring Wade who wore Number 3 throughout his career.

Ahead of the final regular season home game of his legendary National Basketball Association career, Budweiser released an emotional commercial to honour Dwyane Wade's upcoming retirement.

Following the game, Mr. Wade County stood atop the scorer's table one last time to send his love to the fans at American Airlines Arena. The Heat star recorded a triple-double, logging 20 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in less than three quarters, and finishing the game with 25 points, 10 assists and 11 rebounds.

Usually, the only games that result in the willingness by some people to pay outrageous prices are championship events such as the NBA Finals or the Super Bowl. Before leaving the court, he embraced teammates on the floor, then hugged coach Erik Spoelstra and waved to the crowd.

Appropriately, Wade reached his first triple-double since January 13, 2006, by connecting with longtime teammate Udonis Haslem for a jumper in the final minute of the third quarter.

With Haslem making his first start of the season in what could be the last game of his career, the Heat seemed intent on getting the 38 year-old forward the ball early and often.

LeBron sat out the last six regular season games for the Los Angeles Lakers, so he's been free for the past couple of weeks now.
