Square Enix has also announced a partnership with PlayStation on Marvel's Avengers, which it will share more information about-including "surprises for PlayStation players"-in the future". Official intel of the highly anticipated event came by way of the Square Enix press briefing at E3 on Monday night with confirmation.
Marvel'sAvengers is described as an epic action-adventure game that combines cinematic storytelling with single-player and co-operative gameplay. This means that there's no holds barred and this game's version of the Avengers could end up doing anything or fighting any enemy without having to pay attention to established lore.
As Marvel's Avengers exists in its own separate continuity, you won't see Chris Hemsworth or hear Mark Ruffalo's voice.
Marvel's Avengers is now slated to release on May 15, 2020, and will be available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Google Stadia worldwide.
The characters are voiced by new actors, Jeff Schine (Cap), Nolan North (Iron Man), Troy Baker (Hulk), Travis Willingham (Thor), and Laura Bailey (Black Widow), who appear to do a good job. It features teams of four players online, which you can customise. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth's Mightiest Heroes. But when Square Enix took the stage, they definitely saved the best for last. Meagan Marie of Crystal Dynamics says the game will play out over "multiple years" with new content that will be rolled out after launch. But then, everything we've actually seen of the game looks exactly like "Spider-Man, but with the Avengers".
PlayStation users, however, will get early access to the Beta, which does not have a confirmed date yet and will also receive extra in-game items.
