The pair are visiting Cheshire and it's understood their train left London on Wednesday morning to arrive at Runcorn Station on Thursday morning. They plan to end their engagements with a lunch at Town Hall. The 92-year-old royal wore a Stewart Parvin skirt suit, choosing to wear a lime green design to pay a subtle tribute to the Grenfell Tower victims one year on from the fire.
The newlywed, 36, looked incredible in a Givenchy cream ensemble which featured flared sleeves and a black waistband belt. The brand has been a favorite of several high-profile women, including late actress Audrey Hepburn, who was considered Givenchy's muse.

The newly named Duchess of Sussex and her grandmother-in-law made their grand entrance arriving in the northwest of England for a series of events. The queen, who has reigned over the United Kingdom and the commonwealth for 66 years, is making the time in her very busy schedule to say to Meghan, 'OK, I'm going to show you, personally, the royal ropes.
During the event, Meghan and the Queen were also treated to a dance performance by local school children who were celebrating the 1,000 years of crossings over Mersey River. Royals author Ingrid Seward toldPeople that Meghan's solo outing with the Queen occurred much sooner than Kate Middleton's following her marriage to Prince William. "I think the Queen and Meghan's relationship at this point is one built on respect, and Meghan has shifted her own personal style to adopt a more demure regal look - something I think the Queen will be thankful for".
Body language expert Judi James, an industry leader in communication, told how the Queen appeared "completely confident" in Meghan's ability.
Prince William's wife Catherine didn't join the Queen on an outing until nearly a year after her 2011 marriage, when she travelled to Leicester with the Queen and Prince Philip.
