Lucie Love Island 2019

Joe was unhappy with Tommy's decision to couple up with Lucie after declaring his feelings for the surfer.

Meanwhile Lucie confronts Joe and says "If you're flirting with her behind my back, why can't I talk to Tommy?"

Hopeless romantic: The scientist, 23, was given a pep talk by Anton Danyluk, 24, after she asked him: 'When am I going to find love in here?'

"But I've come in and I'm going to have to unfortunately end a couple with one of you".

Anna replies "Yeah but I feel like Joe genuinely likes Lucie".

Although Joe Garratt is of course nowhere near as this extreme, fans can't help but make the comparison to his extreme behaviour just a few days into the series. I'll leave you to it.

"I know you're a straight-up girl so what I want to know is... would you be open to getting to know me?"

Will Lucie and Joe be able to withstand the pressure of the villa?

ITV have revealed 3.3 million viewers tuned in to see the new Islanders move into their luxury Spanish villa, with that number peaking at 3.7 million.

On the day beds, Tommy speaks with Callum, Anton and Curtis as he watches Lucie and Joe having a chat.

And Curtis says of Amy: "I took her aside tonight".

He says: "Look what has happened after a day and a half".

Many people were like us and very curious about what this position was so thousands of people in the United Kingdom and Ireland chose to go ahead and Google the position last night to find out what the truth was. "You've got the power and you can let him graft for you because he needs you more than you need him, darling".

The brand new series of Love Island kicked off on Monday night as brand new Islanders embark on a summer of love - and viewers just couldn't get enough.

Molly-Mae Hague enters the villa in tonight's episode.

Love Island, hosted by Caroline Flack, continues on ITV2.

However some fans hoped Tommy would return to Lucie after his date with Molly-Mae.
